Law enforcement agencies throughout the Sacramento Area will be targeting drunken drivers during the next two weeks with checkpoints and saturation patrols throughout the region.
In 2008, 1,029 people died in alcohol-involved collisions in California, according to the state’s Office of Traffic Safety.
